Hyperbeam is a nimble animation studio led by director Kai Higham. Functioning fluidly between solo practice and full-scale production house, Hyperbeam adapts to the needs of each project — whether that means Kai handling everything from storyboard to final delivery, or assembling a bespoke team from a trusted network of top-tier designers and animators.
You’ll find Hyperbeam’s work lighting up Rod Laver Arena during the Australian Open, in George Watsky’s DOT XXX music video, and across campaigns for brands like Grill’d, Cotton On, University of Melbourne, and IAG — to name a few.
I was commissioned to design this music video for the new single from Szymon called Blue Coloured Mountain. The video was directed by my friend Darcy Predergast from Oh Yeah Wow. Below you can see some frames from the video and also one of my favourite pieces of concept art as the first image.
